Blanchard sprains ankle

Citadel starting quarterback Bart Blanchard sprained his right ankle during practice Saturday morning, but the injury should keep him out for only a few days. X-rays revealed no broken bones, football coach Kevin Higgins said after the Bulldogs' second practice Saturday afternoon.
