The Gwinnett Braves dropped their first game of the season, a 5-3 rain-shortened Class AAA game to Charlotte Friday. Gwinnett starter Jo Jo Reyes (0-1, 6.00 ERA) took the loss. Reyes allowed seven hits and five runs, four earned runs. He struck out two and walked one. Diory Hernandez and two hits and two RBIs for Gwinnett.
